Juno Award-Winner Wesli Brings Vibrant Haitian Rhythms to Knox Performance Centre
Prince George, BC – March 24, 2025 –
The Coldsnap team is thrilled to return to Knox Performance Centre this spring to host a special performance by Juno Award-winning artist Wesli, who will bring his captivating blend of Haitian roots music to the stage on April 25, 2025.
Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Wesli (Wesley Louissaint) has risen from humble beginnings to become one of Haiti’s most celebrated musical ambassadors. Wesli’s music is a vibrant tapestry of sounds, weaving together traditional Haitian rhythms, gospel, reggae, Afrobeat, funk, and more. His performances are renowned for their energy and passion, reflecting a life dedicated to sharing the rich cultural heritage of Haiti.
Audiences can expect an unforgettable evening as Wesli shares stories and songs from his remarkable career. Wesli’s music is a testament to resilience, reconciliation, and the transformative power of art. Wesli is bringing the full band and Knox will certainly be the place to be!
The performance will take place at the Knox Performance Centre (1448 5th Ave). Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the show beginning at 7:30 PM.
Tickets are available for $35 and can be purchased online.
