Coldsnap presents ‘An Evening with Stephen Fearing’ on September 7th

The team that brings you Coldsnap is thrilled to return to Knox Performance Centre September 7 with a warm up to Coldsnap! We are so pleased to welcome back the folk-roots singer-songwriter, STEPHEN FEARING!

Stephen is a multi-JUNO award-winning artist, a gifted storyteller, a magical guitar player and a true musical nomad with the ability to enthrall audiences of all sizes and attitudes. “Getting on stage is the fun part, especially when the adrenaline kicks in,” he says, with a broad smile. “People want to escape and be taken on a journey. I build my shows so they do just that.” He’s been named as one of the finest songwriters in Canada and has built an international audience for his music, doing it old school through countless performances at intimate venues and on the concert stages of festivals and theatres across Canada, the US, the UK, and Europe. Stephen of course is also a co-founding member of the Juno-award winning, international touring band Blackie and the Rodeo Kings.

On Saturday, September 7th, Coldsnap proudly presents ‘An Evening with Stephen Fearing’ at Knox Performance Centre (1448 5th Ave) on Lheidli T'enneh territory in Downtown Prince George.

Early Bird tickets are $35 (plus applicable taxes and fees) until August 7 - then they go up! - and are now available on our website at www.coldsnapfestival.com. The show starts at 7:30 pm, with the doors opening at 7:00 pm. The Coldsnap Cantina will be open for business, serving light snacks and a variety of beverages.

We are also thrilled to announce the dates for Coldsnap 2025! Our flagship event and one of Canada's premier winter music festivals will take place on the beautiful lands of the Lheidli T’enneh from Wednesday, February 5th to Sunday, February 9th. We’ve decided to condense our festival to five days to heighten the festival experience and provide more venues with many ticket-buying options. We plan to offer the same number and quality of mainstage performances and free-to-attend community workshops as previous years. Line-up release teasers and ticket information will be available in the fall, but subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know about announcements, tickets, and much more.
